A fabulous and stunning Patricia chandelier special edition model T37212 by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Markaryd AB, Sweden 1950s.This is a 12 branch polished brass chandelier with gold colored glass domes supported by brass cups all around. The cups are pierced with small holes all around the rim. Gold colored brass. Good vintage condition. Diameter of the dome 14 cm. Height: 98 cm, Width 57 cmD.Hans- Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009 ) was a Swedish decorator and furniture designer active in the 1950-70s. Jakobsson was born in Gotland, Sweden in 1919. After graduation, he was hired by General Motors and later as an assistant to Carl Malmsten (1888-1972) and Werner West (1890-1959).Hans- Agne Jakobsson's lighting received much international attention. He experimented with a wide range of materials such as brass, iron, glass, fabric and wood.
