About this vintage design furniture
Colourful Still Life painting from 1929 in a large gold frame behind glass - passe-partout and frame are from a later time. Watercolour, pencil and (probably) tempera on heavy, soft (probably) uncoated paper. Circa 57 cm x 39 cm. Back: Residues of printer’s ink ( ) and measurement notes. Very good condition with slight traces of age and wear. Artistic style: New Objectivity (Neue Sachlichkeit), Expressive Realism. Artist: Robert Pudlich, 1905 Dortmund - 1962 Düsseldorf, German graphic artist, painter, illustrator and stage designer of the lost generation. Member of the Rhenish Secession.
