Rare Art Deco store window advertisement from Vienna dating from 1931.Made in the workshop of Karl Witrofsky.Witrofsky was active in the field of advertising and had the headquarters of his company at Margarethenstrasse 140 (Amtshause 2), Vienna V, under the name "Reklameplast". (Source: Im großen Lehmann - 1930s - page 789)This is the only known work of Reklameplast, the piece was made in 1931.the workshop "Reklameplast" probably did not exist long.The work was found in Feuchtwangen (Bavaria), in the attic of a house in the city center that was to be demolished - the condition is poor due to unfavorable storage in the attic.Corpus made of plywood on a softwood base with chalk background and colored varnish.Woodworms are no longer present in the wood, the wood is stable, varnish heavily damaged.Two wooden brackets are missing from the back.
