Mid century armchair in green velvet by Guy Besnard, France 1950s

Armchair by French designer Guy Besnard upholstered in green velvet. Original piece from the 1950's with a marked French design style of the period. Solid wood structure in which both the seat and the backrest are really comfortable, preserving the high quality foams of the original piece. The incredible profile that builds the shape of its armrests and the subtle inclination of the different pieces that make it up stand out in its design. The upholstery is finished off with two buttons covered in the same fabric. All this contrasts with delicate black iron legs that round off an exquisite design that speaks to us of the designer's care in constructing functional, comfortable pieces in which all the profiles work visually. As a further note on its measurements, the seat height is 40cm. And surprise, we also have available its brother, an imposing two-seater sofa by the same designer upholstered in the same fabric. Do you dare with the set? It is in very good condition as it has been re-upholstered in green velvet. The structure has been lacquered in matt black and the leg caps have been replaced for greater stability.
