About this vintage design furniture
Great 1960s desk made with a soft top table. The top is made of two layers. A wooden underside and a soft top partially built on top. This is done to be able to write more comfortably on the desk and there is a storage for the devices you want to put on it.The desk is built by gebroeders Verhouden from Oirschot in the Netherlands and was delivered for Philips in Eindhoven. This furniture factory built several desks for Philips but they are very rare on the vintage market. In those years, there could be a printer or a large screen on the desk in the lower part of the desk. Today, it is a very convenient part to have a lower position for the keyboard and mouse.
