Description:This charming dining set was designed by Tom Robertson for Mcintosh of Kirkcaldy in the mid-twentieth century.McIntosh was known in the vintage market for its mid-century style furniture, particularly cabinets and sideboards. Founded in 1869 by Alexander Henry (A.H) McIntosh (1835-1919) in Kirkcaldy, Fife.This charming mid-century table features an extension leaf, making it a very versatile dining table that can comfortably seat 6-8 people.The six chairs feature elegant ladder backs and beautiful tapered legs.The set features a beautiful rich teak grain, warm tones and rich colors.Item Reference:Condition:We have carefully stripped this suite and refinished it with a coat of matte lacquer for a long lasting finish.The six chairs have been professionally reupholstered. We try to illustrate the condition of our items as best we can in our photographs.Prior to shipping, all items are carefully cleaned and re-coated with a fresh coat of Danish oil to ensure your item is in its best condition upon delivery.This item is in good presentable condition and has no significant flaws.
