Description:This charming dining room was designed by Tom Robertson for Mcintosh of Kirkcaldy in the mid-twentieth century.McIntosh was known in the vintage market for its mid-century style furniture, particularly cabinets and sideboards. Founded in 1869 by Alexander Henry (A.H) McIntosh (1835-1919) in Kirkcaldy, Fife.This charming mid-century table features an extension leaf, making it a very versatile dining table that can comfortably seat 4-8 people.The set has a distinctly Scandinavian design with a gentle curve at the top that aesthetically sets it apart from more traditional dining table shapes. The four chairs feature elegant ladder backs and beautiful tapered legs.The set features a beautiful rich teak grain, warm tones and rich colors.Item Reference:Condition:We have carefully stripped this suite and refinished it with a coat of matte lacquer for a long lasting finish.We try to render the condition of our items in our photographs as best as possible.Prior to shipping, all items are carefully cleaned and refinished with a coat of Danish oil to ensure that your item looks its best upon delivery.This item is in good presentable condition and has no significant flaws.
