Description:This charming dining table and chairs were designed and manufactured by the British cabinetmaker Gplan in the mid-twentieth century. Gplan furniture has been renowned for many years for its solid construction and excellent design.G Plan - E. Gomme Ltd was based in High Wycombe, England, a major center of British furniture manufacture. The company was revered for its range of high quality sideboards, tables and other cabinetry and for pioneering custom designed and built furniture sets.The rarely seen dining table features two large extendable leaves that slide out to create an extension when needed. The table comfortably accommodates the six chairs, two of which are carvers.The piece has a beautiful teak grain, warm tones and rich colors. Item SKU:Condition:We have carefully cleaned and repolished this dining room to preserve its original natural look.We try to capture the condition of our items in our photographs as best as possible.The six chairs have been professionally reupholstered. Prior to shipping, all items are thoroughly cleaned and re-coated with Danish oil to ensure that your item looks its best upon delivery.This item is in good presentable condition and has no significant flaws.
