Description: This delightful rarely seen desk was designed by John Herbert for British cabinet maker Younger in the mid-twentieth century. Younger Furniture has been noted for many years for its sound construction and excellent design. Part of Youngers ’Russell’ bedroom range designed and manufactured circa 1960 the desk is constructed of natural French walnut with a beautiful matt finish The desirable piece provides ample storage space with its multiple drawers. Both are beautifully designed and superbly manufactured with its rich grain, warm tones, rosewood handles, and beautiful solid tapered legs. Both stylish and functional this beautiful piece would make a wonderful addition to any home. Item SKU: Condition: We have carefully stripped this desk and refinished it with a coat of matt lacquer for a durable and lasting finish. We try to capture the condition of our items in our photographs as best as possible.
