Vintage Carrara Gioia marble round table by Metaform, 1980s

Beautiful round Dutch Design table from Metaform with a large marble table top of 140 cm. This top is made of Carrara Gioia marble, with a beautiful light gray drawing in the white marble. The base is made of five sturdy very dark brown metal legs. The Carrara marble table top is ‘impaired’, which means that it is worn obliquely at the bottom (see photo). This is also visible on the bottom of the marble table tops by Saarinen for Knoll. The top has been professionally polished and treated with a dirt-repellent liquid.
