About this vintage design furniture
Here is a beautiful impressive large stone lithographic Art Deco poster advertising the alcoholic drink Fap Anis This poster is unusually horizontal, making it easy to place in just about any setting. The poster is custom framed in 1993 in a beautiful gold and black wooden frame with protective UV Plexi-Glass to protect this valuable poster Artist and designer is Robert Deval. France, 1920s, signed in the plate Delval has created an image of luxury, exoticism, and verve with a panoramic vista of the Mediterranean coast. A virtual explosion of colors. The ad features Gaby Deslys, a popular actress, flapper, and singer who became famous in 1910 because of her Broadway performances. She was friends of the upper class and the jetset of that era including the king of Portugal, and claimed to own her weight in pearls. This is a vintage lithographic poster and is guaranteed to be original. It is not a reproduction. Dimensions poster: 120 cms by 160 Dimensions frame is 131 cms by 171 by 4,5 cm deep Very good vintage condition. Light wear consistent with age and use. Bright, fresh colours, with the exception of one small tear in the upper dark blue sky section, please see detailed picture. I am not sure if it is a tear or a crack in the paper
