About this vintage design furniture
Scandinavian mid-century glass & brass ceiling light pendant designed by Carl Fagerlund for Lyfa (Denmark, 1960s). Thick, clear and heavy cylindrical crystal glass shade (4.5 kg) made by Orrefors Glassworks, Sweden. Brass rod. The textured glass reflects a wonderful light. Cleaned, re-wired and ready to use (compatible in all countries Europe, US, UK, Asia, etc.). Requires one E27 light bulb. Total height with canopy: 55 cm (25 cm the glass itself); diameter (glass): 18 cm. Very good vintage condition. Small traces of use on the white metal mounting.

About the designer
Carl FAGERLUND
Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a Swedish designer who worked mainly for the famous lighting design and manufacturing company, Orrefors Glassworks, in Sweden. He is best known for his glass lamp designs, which were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
