About this vintage design furniture
This is a beautiful original example of this super rare swivel chair by Hans J.Wegner for Johannes Hansen, designated JH502. This amazing executive office chair model JH-502 was designed by Hans Wegner for master cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen. It was presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmaker Guild Exhibition at Kunstindustrimuseet in 1955. This lovely example, circa 1960s has a polished steel frame on four-star steel foot with casters. The seat is upholstered in all original brown leather and is beautifully patinated. The solid oak back has the most marvelous grain and finish. A design Classic.
