About this vintage design furniture

This is a legendary and mysterious project that was probably commissioned for a chain of exclusive Polish Fashion salons in Poland, circa 1950s. It is not known to this day who is behind this extremely interesting project and who the producer was, but most definitely it is not like any other back in those days. Some suspect that this may be a project by Vladimir Kagan, but there is no officially documented confirmation so far. There were approximately only several dozen pieces produced, each one for one Polish Fashion salon that were located in every main city of Poland back in those days. This fabulous desk features a generous writing surface covered with a roll-top. Under the writing top you will find a spacious drawer with a few different sized sections that allow to keep everything perfectly organized. The piece was fully restored and is in very good condition. The walnut veneer was finished with an old fashioned traditional French polish shellac applied manually which gives it an excellent look but also protects the wood. This versatile piece makes the perfect addition to any home, business, or office.
