About this vintage design furniture
Small Murano glass Bullicante bowl by Barovier and Toso (Italy, 1950s). It is made of clear, transparent purple glass with inclusions of gold flecks within the glass. The controlled bubble effect in the glass is known as "bullicante". The bowl can also be used as an ashtray. It is extremely decorative. Dimensions: 4.5 x 9.5 x 9.5 cm. Excellent vintage condition.

About the designer
BAROVIER
Barovier is the name of a famous family of Italian glassmakers who have been active in the glass industry for over seven centuries. Among the most notable members of this family is Ercole Barovier (1889-1974), a designer and master glassmaker who played an important role in the 20th-century renaissance of the Murano glass industry.
