About this vintage design furniture
For sale a stunning Mid Century Modernist metal & brass floor lamp with two black, perforated metal shades by John & Sylvia Reid for Rotaflex, c.1950s. The lamp, which consists of two independently controlled lights, is in good vintage condition, with patina commensurate with 60+ years of age & use. Of note, the bendable goosenecks no longer hold their positions, so the positions shown in the photos are the only ones possible.

About the designer
John REID
John and Sylvia Reid were a British design couple known for their contribution to modern design in the UK in the 1950s and 1960s. John Reid was born in 1918 in Newcastle upon Tyne and studied sculpture at the city's School of Fine Arts. Sylvia Reid, born in Glasgow in 1917, studied painting at the Glasgow School of Art.
