About this vintage design furniture

Suite of 3 flying tables by Pierre Guariche. ed. Steiner, circa 1955, publisher's plate under two tables, the third plate is missing. Black lacquered metal legs, multiply wood top covered with white formica. Dimensions: 394mm (W) x 394mm (D) x 355 (H) Pierre Guariche (1926 - 1995) is a mythical French designer of the 50s. He publishes alone his first models that he exhibits at the Salon des Arts ménagers then at the Salon des Artistes décorateurs. The success with the general public is at the rendezvous and quickly arouses the interest of the big editors as Airborne, Pierre Disderot and Steiner. Good condition with traces of use.
