Pair of vintage Art Deco night stand in beechwood, 1930s

A pair of 1930’s Bedside tables made of Beech with a rich Walnut veneer texture. There were many variations of this popular piece of furniture; it was an essential item for every stylish bedroom of the time. This pair has got a wonderful walnut veneer with a striking pattern. The elegance of its shape, the softly curved edges, the attention to detail as well as the beauty of the wood makes this piece a prime example of the sophistication of 1930’s furniture design. Both bedside tables have been recently completely refurbished to its former glory. The recent restoration of the surface has fully revived the extremely rich colour of the entire piece, showing off the beautiful patterns on all surfaces. The entire piece has been hand finished by Shellac and Nitro varnishes in order to achieve a greater gloss finish.
