Made by Vichr & Co., an influential Czech furniture manufacturer originally helmed by Petr Vichr and later, his son. Designed by renowned Czech designer and producer, Petr Vichr. It has been fully restored by our professional refurbishing team in Czechia according to the original process. Please get in touch with us to find out the details of its restoration. The chrome parts have been cleaned and professionally restored. This item features classic Bauhaus design elements. Elements of this style are neutral colours, and occasional bright primary colours. Bauhaus designers avoided the fussy and pretentious, looking for clean, modern lines instead. Perfect for a timeless, yet modern look. About the designer
Rudolf VICHR
Rudolf Vichr (1912-2001) was a Czech industrial designer known for his functional and elegant furniture creations. Born in Prague, he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he was influenced by the Bauhaus movement and modernist designs.
