A beautifully designed and crafted teak sideboard by John Herbert for Younger in the 1960s featuring solid teak handles, legs and edging drawer fronts. This is a very solid and well built piece of furniture in a combination of solid wood and veneers and its minimal design. Good vintage condition.

About the designer
John HERBERT
John Herbert was a British industrial designer, born in 1929 and died in 2007. He studied at the Royal College of Art in London in the 1950s and began his career working for the English furniture manufacturer Ercol.
