Vintage Norwegian sofa Svanette by Ingmar Relling, 1960
About this vintage design furniture
Sofa with a secondary function of sleeping, called daybed, designed by the architect-designer Ingmar Relling at the beginning of the 1960s and published until the end of the 1970s by the company Ekornes in Trondheim under the name of "Svanette" model. This sofa, made of teak wood for its visible parts and pine for the internal structure, has been carefully restored by our cabinetmaker, and our upholsterer has reworked it with an elegant green fabric. It is therefore in impeccable condition. Under the mattress (which is easily lifted with one hand) is a compartment for sheets and blankets. Finally, the seat height is 40 cm, and the open sofa in bed position reaches a length of 190 cm.
