Made by Vichr and Co, an influential Czech furniture manufacturer originally run by Petr Vichr and later by his son. It has been repolished with polyutherane piano lacquer by our professional refurbishing team in Czechoslovakia, following the original process. The chrome parts have been professionally cleaned and restored. Sold individuallyThis item features classic Bauhaus design elements. The elements of this style are neutral colors, and occasionally bright primary colors. Bauhaus designers avoided fussy and pretentious elements, instead seeking clean, modern lines. Perfect for a timeless, yet modern look.

About the designer
Rudolf VICHR
Rudolf Vichr (1912-2001) was a Czech industrial designer known for his functional and elegant furniture creations. Born in Prague, he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he was influenced by the Bauhaus movement and modernist designs.
