About this vintage design furniture

A 1960s armchair by French designer Jean René Caillette (René Gabriel prize 1952), "Sylvie" model edited by Georges Charron in Rio rosewood and stainless steel. This model was presented at the "salon des arts ménagers" in 1961. Interior in lemon tree. With 4 drawers and 3 doors, one of which is without handle in "push and pull", the handles are in solid chromed brass. Curved chrome base with rosewood inlay. Shelves present in each part. Luxurious manufacture by its noble materials and its design. Set in very good vintage condition. Exceptional furniture.Coming from a complete set René-Jean Caillette chairs, table and cabinet.Referenced: P195, "The decorators of the 50s" by Patrick Favardin, Norma editions.
