About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful mid-century daybed in striking colors. This sofa was originally called a Swedish bench in Czechoslovakia. It was designed by Miroslav Navratil in 1960s. The designer used simple, clean lines of mid-century design to make this daybed a stand out. It is made in strong wood, combined with the strong seat. This one is made in orangebrown color combination. The fabric is original and still in a really lovely condition. The back of the sofa is finished with oak wood panel. The simple system transforms this beautiful sofa into a bed in fes seconds. Stands on strong wooden legs. Original condition with minor wear only. Beautiful piece Seat hight 45cm, open bed 88cm width.

About the designer
Frantisek JIRAK
František Jiránek (1898-1978) was a Czech designer who worked in the 1920s and 1930s. He is best known for his work in furniture design, but also designed objects in glass and ceramics.
