Cor Alons - The Hague School - Clock - Art Deco The Hague, Netherlands, 1929 a Truly stunning, unique and very well preseved clock from the famous Art Deco influenced the-Hague-School architect Cor Alons (Groningen, June 11, 1892 – The Hague, April 24, 1967). His style conforms to functionalism; Cor Alons aimed for a clear structure in his design. Combined Walnut with the tropical woodsort coromandel for a breathtaking revolutionary design, ahead of its time. In overall very good condition, functionallity of the clock is not in working condition. Nevertheless a piece of design history. Some little signs as photographed, but nevertheless in stunning condition considering its age. Note: Unedited pictures, only cropped.
