About this vintage design furniture

Mid-century Wengé sideboard designed by Cees Braakman and produced by Pastoe, 1960s. The sideboard with white painted doors and drawers has a Wengé veneer finish all around. The contrast between the dark and light finish gives the cabinet a beautiful character. The cabinet has the same mounting as the “made to measure” series (MTM). The vintage cabinet is from the first owner. The Pastoe mark (sticker) has faded. Good vintage condition. The Wenge wood is neat with light signs of wear on the top. The white painted doors are neat, as are the drawers. Very light signs of use are visible here. Two drawers have undergone a repair (bottom of a drawer and a corner of a drawer). Under certain light incidence you can see a slight difference in gloss of the white paintwork. Not disturbing for the overall picture.
