Danish Modern Rosewood Secretary Desk by Arne Wahl Iversen 1960s Beautiful Rosewood secretaire model No. 68 designed by Danish architect Arne Wahl Iversen and manufactured by Vinde Møbelfabrik, Denmark in the 1960s. Drop down front doubles as a writing surface with inlaid leatherette mat. Three shelves, one with cubby holes. Two small drawers with slanted front. The door can be locked with a key (key included). Bottom part features two wide drawers with sculpted pulls in solid Rosewood. All drawers are made with dovetail joints. This bureau is marked with makers mark on back and "Danish Furnituremakers Control" inside one drawer. A very elegant piece made in the highest quality materials by Danish mid-century modern master carpenters. Beautiful warm reddish brown Rosewood veneer with expressive grain pattern. Very good original condition with minimal signs of wear. A few faint blemishes on the writing surface. Cleaned and polished, ready for use.
