Vintage black Windsor chair by Lucian Ercolani for Ercol, UK 1960s

Windsor chair by Lucian Ercolani for the English firm Ercol, black lacquered. Original pieces of impeccable workmanship. The U-shaped backrest is constructed with steam from a single wooden rail into which the four beech-turned rods are then fitted. The H-frame legs pass through the elm seat to form beautiful, traditional and highly resistant assembly joints. They are lacquered with respect for the original grain of the wood. The Windsor design in black makes an elegant addition to any dining area or as a side chair in a bedroom or study.
