About this vintage design furniture
Chair by designer Willy Van Der Meeren for Tubax Ca.1950. Has a black lacquered metal frame with blue vinyl seat. The armrests are made of wood. Completely original and in a good vintage condition. Van Der Meeren is considered one of the most important Belgian furniture designers of the postwar period. This piece of Belgian social furniture was designed for schools in the early 1950s. They are now highly collectible. Seat height: 45 cm
