About this vintage design furniture
In 1973 Enzo Mari designed the spectaculair dining table model Frate for Driade. Frate is a very detailed design of two metal feet connected to eachother via a ‘free hanging’ wooden middle bar. On top of the metal feet is a glass table top. This Frate model is basically very outspoken minimalistic design from de midcentury period changing into the 1980s designs. Frate is also a table from a period Mari was looking for technical solutions for example in the Ambo glass tables to connect feet to glass etc. Could Enzo Mari be inspired for his Frate table by this unique table we offer you today Or maybe it might be an pre productional piece because the years this table dates from the 1960s-1970s.
