About this vintage design furniture

LCM armchair designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1946. The Eames LCM – LCM stands for Lounge Chair Metal legs – is a true design classic. It was way ahead of their time in terms of shape and construction. The rubber shock mounts create a very comfortable seat, the backrest adapts to your back, as it were. Dimensions: h x w x d 68 x 55 x 62.5 cm with a seat height of 39 cm. This is an old version from the 1960s. The condition is good, normal traces of use and wear. The seat and back were once repainted black (see photos). Material: chromed metal and bent plywood. Colour black. Marked: with the Herman Miller logo (M) on the rubbers (see photos). Source: book Herman Miller Collection 1952 and book Charles and Ray Eames, objects and furniture design.
