About this vintage design furniture

Pastoe secretaire from the birch series designed by Cees Braakman for pastie in 1952. This CB01 Pastoe cabinet was made in the 1960s. It has a fold-out writing desk and plenty of storage space. The drawers and the loop legs with the bent wood are characteristic in this series. This cabinet has been partially restored, sanded and varnished. The lock in the right door was once replaced and therefore no longer original and the veneer at the back of the corners on the right side has been repaired (see photo). The (black) veneer of the folding desk is renewed. The condition is (partly due to the restoration) very good again (see photos). Dimensions: h x w x d 119 x 131 x 43 cm. Height secretary: 75 cm. With keys. Marked: Pastoe.
