About this vintage design furniture
Pair of beautiful and authentic easy chairs by Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen & Peter Hvidt. These easy chairs in teak and beech was designed by Orla & Peter and was produced in the early 1950s by France & Daverkosen. This is the Model 148 one of their best designs, very elegant and with lot of beautiful details. A chair in very high quality and with a very high seating comfort. The set is in great original vintage condition with no damage to the frame - seats also in good vintage condition of it’s age - no holes in the fabric. Seat height is 45cm. About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
