About this vintage design furniture
Vintage, round, mid-century rosewood dining table, circa 1970s. The piece features a beautiful round wood table top with a rosewood veneer and lacquer finish, with black beveled edges as the underside of the top. The base, pedestal and legs are made of metal, with a chrome finish. The base has four long legs, designed as an "x", with angled edges. The legs have adjustable metal tips that are all functional. The top rests on an identical "x" shaped support. It appears that at some point, the fasteners under the tray may have been replaced, by a previous owner (see photo.) The table is overall, in good, original, vintage condition, with some light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with the time, on the table top and edge of the table top (see photos with a 1 cent coin for perspective), base, legs and end caps (see photos). It has retained a very nice original patina of time, and is solid is stable. A fantastic and eye-catching centerpiece with an elegant design, which will complement any contemporary, vintage or classic interior space.
