Vintage "Planta" coat rack by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli, Italy 1970s

A nice styled green plastic free standing coat rack in iconic Italian style Designed by Giancarlo Piretti, manufactured by Castelli in Italy around 1970. The use of plastic is a typical mid-century innovation from Italy, that has taken over the world for a reason This piece will add a beautiful vintage touch to any interior. The model is named “Planta”, meaning Plant, thanks to it’s cylinder shape and curvy details. It has integrated umbrella holders as well, making this piece very versatile The eye-catching green colour works really well for this piece and makes this one an exceptionally nice find. Marked underneath the foot as shown in the photos. It remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful vintage patina.
