About this vintage design furniture

A symbol of Danish design, this hanging lamp is based on an earlier design by Poul Henningsen from 1926. Mother of the ph family, it is composed of three reflective screens: a cone and two smaller colored screens in matte coated aluminum. The shape of the lamp was designed on the principle of a reflective system that directs the light not only downwards, but also to the sides, illuminating the lamp itself. Thanks to its structure, ph 5 provides a diffuse, non-glare light in a warm tone. The height of the lamp without wiring is 27cm. It shows some traces of use related to its age. Mounted with an intermediate switch, very practical for use above a table or an island.
