About this vintage design furniture
DOT was developed by Fritz Hansen in the 1950s around the same time that Arne Jacobsen created the Ant chair. During the development of the chair Arne Jacobsen spent a lot of time in Fritz Hansen’s factory testing, refining and finalizing his design. The result of the collaboration was a three-legged stool in veneer presented to the market in 1954. Lightweight and easy to stack. Practical for providing additional seating in the home. The design is characterized by timelessness and functionalism.
