About this vintage design furniture
An increasingly scarce teak mid-century desk by legendary design Pierre Jeanneret. India, c1960s, for Chandigarh projects. Designed for various administrative buildings in the city. Black re-covered leather top. A single drawer to the front, open pigeonhole shelving to the reverse ideal for books and curios to create and artistic display. A particularly good model, remaining in good vintage condition, priced accordingly. Recent sales: Piasa Auction Paris - 24700€ - 19th January 2022 Location: Belgium Gallery.
