About this vintage design furniture
A wonderful “Cone” chair designed by Verner Panton, manufactured by Vitra in Germany around 2000. The famous cone chair is a real iconic piece It has a high quality metal crossbase and is upholstered in beautiful yellow fabric. The cone shaped structure of the piece is what it owes it’s name to. Panton described this chair as “a ballerina standing on her toes, easily doing pirouettes”. This describes the elegant yet modern style of the piece very well This fantastic chair will definitely draw the attention in any decor It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a wonderful patina.
