About this vintage design furniture
A wonderful vintage pendant lamp from 1950 with a shade reminiscent of a Svend Åge Holm Sørensen design. It is made of whitish plastic (most likely celluloid (rhodoid)). It is a beautiful example of timeless design. The crinkled lampshade is finished at the top and bottom with a large white plastic border. It is attached to a metal frame. The top is finished in teak wood. The lamp known as Pearlshade produces a soft, diffused light. The lamp can be a great addition to a bedroom or living room. In addition, the open top and bottom create space for light to be directed up and down, so it would work well on a smaller or medium-sized dining room or kitchen table. It is kept in original condition. There is one small damage. The cable has been replaced with a new one. Cable length 298 cm
