Vintage Hollywood Regency chandelier by Karstadt Ag, Germany 1970s

Chandelier made by Karstadt AG in Germany in the 1970s Made of forged steel, gilded using a traditional technique. P It has three light points for bulbs with E14 thread. The iconic motifs of leaves and ears of wheat complete the design. Although the lamp comes from the 1970s, the Hollywood Regency style is very much felt here. The symbolism of a cluster of gilded wheat stalks fascinated legendary fashion designers. Coco Chanel’s classic 1950s pattern with the earring motif that Chanel associated with her childhood. The pattern was spectacularly successful around the world after being placed in interiors designed by Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent. The chandelier is preserved in good vintage condition. It has patina on it. When lit, it catches the eye with its amazing contrasts.
