About this vintage design furniture

The A330S pendant lamp, called the "Golden Bell," has a sculptural quality that can be appreciated whether the light is on or off. Made from a single piece of brass, the elegant "Golden Bell" was created by Aino and Alvar Aalto for the interior of the Savoy Restaurant in Helsinki in 1937, and then exhibited in the Finnish Pavilion at the Paris World's Fair the same year. The "Golden Bell" embodies Alvar Aalto's signature clean aesthetic, and the light it provides is both warm and clearly diffused. The hand-spun brass gives the "Golden Bell" a golden glow. The "Golden Bell" ages gracefully, acquiring a beautiful patina over time.Preserved in its original condition, the brass is covered with a light patina. The ebonized bulb holders and cables confirm that this is one of the earliest pieces of the production. The lamps are hard to find in vintage edition.
