About this vintage design furniture
A set of 2 ’Pirkka’ chairs by Ilmari Tapiovaara for Laukaan Puu, Finland. Designed in 1955 and still an iconic design of Tapiovaara. The seat and back seat of these chairs have in time been re-painted burgundy. They have the burnmark on the bottom of the seat. Both chairs have visible signs of age and use. Both chairs are in a solid condition. Seat height: 42 cm
