About this vintage design furniture
An iconic “BRNO” chair designed by Mies van der Rohe, manufactured by Alivar in Italy around 1970. The chair has a chrome plated metal frame, nicely bending around the seat and smoothly transitioning into the armrests. This seamless design is one of the outstanding features of the chair The seat and back are upholstered in black leather, nicely contrasting to the frame and creating a sense of luxury over this modern piece. It would make a beautiful addition to the dining room, can fit perfectly in a conference room or would even make an appealing side chair to compliment the decor It has the manufacturer’s name all over the underside of the side, as shown in photos. The chair remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
