The Cornelia armchair by Tobia and Afra Scarpa for Meritalia circa 1960s and made in Italy. Wonderful wide and flat arms with a deep square shaped seat and cylindrical legs in twos. The upholstery is ox blood coloured leather. Tobia ( Carlo Scarpa’s son) and Afra were a husband and wife design duo and designed pieces other Italian brands such as Cassina and B&B Italia . H78cm W96cm D75cm SH45cm This item is in good vintage condition. The leather is soft with no tears or cracks, the seat is full and supported. There are a few scuff marks on the arms and legs - photographed and taken in to consideration
