About this vintage design furniture
A genuinely stunning piece of late 1970’s mid century design, this table was designed by Marcel Breuer and retailed by Habitat, it was created to match his famous Cesca chair. The table has a solid ash top which has been stained black allowing the wood grain to show through. To extend the table, the drop leaf on the side is lifted and slid across the frame until it sits centrally. The legs are thick cylindrical silver high gloss chromed metal which contrasts strikingly against the black top. Overall width 136cm x width with flap down 78cm x depth 90cm x height 74cm Condition: Very good mid century condition. Minor signs of wear consistent with age and lots of use.
