About this vintage design furniture
The ceiling dates from the 1960s and was produced by Glashütte Limburg. The shade is made of thick transparent glass. The surface of the shade consists of countless spikes and geometric shapes. The result of this surface finish is a scattered light, which spreads not only forward but also to the sides. It diffuses the light, creating an extraordinary visual effect. Because of these features, it is ideal as a decorative backlight on the wall. The luminaire can be mounted on the wall or ceiling. The light fixture has mounting holes. The base is patinated.
