Danish mid-century pendant lamp Ph Kontrast by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen, 1962

One of the most spectacular lamps of Danish design. The Kontrast lamp was designed by Poul Henningsen in 1962 and the manufacturer was Louis Poulsen - as with all PH lamps. The lamp consists of a structure of 10 aluminum screens painted white and polished to a high gloss, and an orange interior. The lamp has a built-in light adjustment system, so you can adjust the bulb and thus set a different light. The lamp was withdrawn from production in the 70’s due to too high production costs. The lamp is in good condition, there are traces of time in the form of scratches and small chips. No dents and all shades are straight. Dimensions: diameter: 40cm height: 55cm The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, it has a new approx. 5 meter long braided cable. Additionally, the headlining is attached to the lamp.
