About this vintage design furniture

This modernist umbrella stand, in the style of renowned French-Hungarian designer Mathieu Matégot, features four spherical plastic legs, supporting a patinated brass basket and an organic, curved perforated sheet. The brass frame turns into a crown at the top of the basket, from which a brass stand with a wooden end protrudes. This is a truly stunning piece, very much rooted in the 1950s, but can fit into any interior due to its versatility.
