Vintage chair by Helge Sibast for Sibast Møbler, 1960s
About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful carved side or dining chair (model 7) designed by Helge Sibast in the 1960s and manufactured by Sibast Møbler (Denmark). Teak curved backrest and the slanted legs. The seat has been reupholstered in a high quality leather. In 2015 Sibast furniture started to re-produce these chairs but they are only available in oak. In very good condition with a small old repair on the back (see photo).

About the designer
Helge SIBAST
Helge Sibast was a Danish designer born in 1916 and died in 1985. He trained as a cabinetmaker and then worked for the family business, Sibast Furniture, founded in 1908.
